Roland "Champ" Bailey Jr. (born June 22, 1978) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the University of Georgia and earned consensus All-American honors. Bailey was drafted in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. In 2004, he was traded to the Denver Broncos, who released him in early 2014 following Super Bowl XLVIII. He was signed by the New Orleans Saints shortly after, but was released before the start of the regular season. Bailey has been selected to 12 Pro Bowls, the most for any cornerback, and is widely regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in NFL history.
